FOUR OF HEARTS, THE WIDOW.
The Widow is called Arya, which translates to bear, to carry in the footsteps of Buddha (knowledge, enlightenment), referring to uniting opposites into one, single voice. The Widow is atini-gaNita; (this word is known as Cigany, Zigeuner, Gitano) translating to very skillful mathematics. In other words, Arya translates to perfected knowledge, finding the Arc (light), the creator within. For this reason, the Widow is a representation of a mystical journey. She is showing the way, the path how to achieve perfect knowledge, and with her wisdom, you are gaining advancement and contentment. She is the card of mystery, stillness, and passivity. The card suggests that it is time to retreat and reflect upon the situation and trust your inner being to guide you through it. The Widow is your guide if you allow it. She is psychic power, the Voice of the Universe, the enlightened subconscious. Her silence, and passivity, contain the law of perfection. Only when you're retiring from the world, you are allowing your subconscious to rise. It is reflected by the mirror within, advising you to see your spiritual power.
